Devon
Devon is a beautiful county in southwest England, with stunning sandy beaches that stretch for miles and can be seen from the fossil rich southern jurassic coast.
There are medieval towns steeped in history to explore, and if you enjoy walking there is the moorland flooded Dartmoor national park. Devon is knows as the English Riviera and has a series of picturesque, south-coast harbour villages including Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.
The county’s bays contain seaside resorts, fishing towns, and ports and the South West Coast Path follows the coastline so you can take in the towering cliffs of the northern Exmoor Coast and their rock formations.
There is much inspiration for exploring Devon’s green spaces – from a gentle woodland stroll to an invigorating bike ride, or finding the best bird-watching spot to discovering Devon’s ancient geology
With many tourist towns and also quiet hideaways, this makes Devon a beautiful place to set down roots.
